Sekiro, on the other hand, is a tightly designed linear experience where the emphasis is almost always on moving from point A to point B in one piece. Yes, both feature fast-paced sword battles, but Ghost is an open-world adventure where tense combat moments are balanced by serene meadows and optional activities like flower collecting and haiku composition. It’s wonderful in its own way and not the Sekiro clone I was expecting. Now that I’ve been in for 30-40 hours in Ghost of Tsushima, I’m willing to say I love this game too. I was willing to dislike Ghost of Tsushima out of spite because I thought it would be a stunned version of Sekiro meant to appeal to those less willing to endure the torture of nearly impossible boss fights. It’s a brutally challenging but masterfully crafted samurai game by the team that created my favorite game – Dark Souls. : Ghost of Tsushima vs Sekiro: The Ultimate Samurai Showdown
